As many of you have heard, this past week 49 positions were eliminated from the staffing of the General Assembly Mission Council's nation staff this past week. While there will be plenty of time to step-back and reflect on larger issues of the church as well as the complexities around this particular decision, I think those who have lost their jobs deserve a time to be held in prayer by our community.
For those who lost their jobs this past week: friends, colleagues and faith servant all, Lord hear our prayer.
